2017 National Adoption Meeting

We are thrilled that you will be attending AEA's National Adoption Conference on May 17, 2017 - May 19, 2017. Before you join us in Las Vegas, we wanted to share some helpful tips to make your conference delightful, fun, and informative!

How can I carpool to the meeting or to/from the airport?
There is an online forum for meeting attendees to post inquiries about carpooling to and from the airport and during the week of the meeting. If you are not a member of AEA and are interested in accessing the online forum, we are allowing nonmembers who will be attending the meeting to have temporary access up to the and throughout the meeting. Please contact us at info@adoptea.org to request further information.

When does on-site registration start?
Attendees can register on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 4:00pm - 6:30pm, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7:30am - 8:30am and Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 7:00am - 8:30am in the hallway in front of Pompeian meeting rooms.

I am a platinum sponsor. When can I set-up my exhibit table during the Conference? Platinum sponsors are permitted to exhibit at the National Adoption Conference throughout the day on May 16 at 4:00 pm  - May 18 at 4:00 pm. Exhibitors may check-in at registration and set-up between 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm on May 16, 2017 or 7:30 am - 8:30 am on May 17, 2017 for the exhibit days. Exhibitors will be prominently located in the main hallway in front of Pompeian meeting rooms. If you are interested in being a platinum sponsor, please contact Kamilah Bunn.

How many units of continuing education will I receive by attending the National Conference?
Up to 10.75 continuing education units will be offered through the State of Nevada Board of Examiners at AEA's National Conference.

How do I get credits for the sessions I attend?
At the end of each day, a satisfaction survey and quiz will be emailed to all meeting attendees. If you are receiving continuing education credits for the conference, you must complete the survey and the quiz each day. If you have any concerns or do not receive the email quiz and survey, please visit the AEA registration desk.

Will there be breakfast or lunch provided?
Continental breakfast will be served on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7:30am - 8:30am and on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 7:00am - 8:30am in the hallway in front of Pompeian meeting rooms.

Coffee and tea will be served in the hallway in front of Pompeian meeting rooms on 
Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10:00am - 10:15am and Thursday May 18, 2017, 9:45am - 10:00am and 2:30pm - 2:45pm.

Lunch will be served at the Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:30am - 1:00pm. 

Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 4:30 pm at the Welcome Reception and Silent Auction at the Wheel House.

Where is the Wheel House and how do I get there?
The Wheel House is adjacent to the Las Vegas High Roller (the famous Las Vegas ferris wheel.) Members of AEA's Board of Directors will be positioned outside each meeting room at 4:00pm to usher attendees over to the Wheel House between 4:00pm to 4:15pm.  It is a 15-minute walk from the meeting rooms to the Wheel House.  If you wish to walk or drive over by yourself we are providing directions in your registration bag or you can download it here. You can also go to our online community forum to see whether attendees might be interested in carpooling.

When does match event registration start and when can I set-up my exhibit booth?
Attendees can register on and set-up their exhibit tables on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 7:00am - 9:00am in Roman 1 and 2

How can I purchase additional AV like faster internet or electricity setup?
Please contact ENCORE, the AV company providing services at Caesar's Palace, using this form. Please remit payment directly to them.

Hotel Parking
There is self-parking and valet parking available at Caesar's Palace. Nevada residents, with a valid driver's license, receive complimentary parking.  All other non-Nevada residents, will be charged to park.  Please see the rates below.  Rates are subject to change.

If I am speaking at the conference, can I share a projector and set-up with another speaker?
Please go to the online forum if you have a projector you are willing to share with others or if you are looking to borrow a projector.


What is the quality of the free hotel internet?
Caesars Palace provides Starbucks quality internet at no charge throughout its meeting space. They cannot guarantee any streaming or heavy internet usage. If you require internet please contact the AV company ENCORE.

What should I do if I lose my badge?
Please visit the AEA registration table to receive a new badge.

Who can I contact if I have a problem?

I have specific dietary needs. Who should I contact?
Other than the seated awards luncheon, food served will be buffet style. For the awards luncheon please let us know your dietary needs when you register for the meeting. Otherwise send us an email at info@adoptea.org.

I need to ship my exhibit and other things to the meeting. Where can I send it to?
There is a UPS Store at the business center inside Caesars Palace near the palace tower elevators on the main floor. They receive and ship packages. Please address your shipment as follows:
